Wooohoooo…the 4th of July is finally upon us that means it’s time to celebrate! Most importantly be safe this 4th of July. Here are a few of my favorite dishes you can bring to your neighborhood picnic or celebration.
Let’s start off with a drink, I love this sangria recipe and it brings in the red white and blue with the strawberry, blueberry, apple and basil.
for an easy side dish, I’m including my recent post for my lentil salad
and the bruschetta with feta recipe as both of these recipes will hold up great in the heat
I love my chickpea/garbanzo bean salad as a side-dish
or the quinoa salad
as a main meal option, the baja style grilled chicken is one of my new favorite recipes
pair the chicken with some burgers with grilled onions
and of course dessert…my oreo cake is a great option as kids love this!
I would also recommend this lemon, blueberry cake as I love this recipe!
So if I was planning a bbq or having family/friends over, this would be my menu for this year as it’s some of my all time favorites! I hope you all have a very safe, fun-filled day and I look forward to hearing about what recipes you tried from my blog!
