December Must Haves for the Holidays

December 15, 2016 By Patty Limatola-Tanenbaum

I love gift giving and wanted to share some of my favorites for the holiday, end of the year season.

Kitchen Fun:

For pasta stop using the old traditional colander, this little gadget is by far the best invention and least advertised item to have in your kitchen.  Trust me on this one, it scoops out the pasta leaving water in your pan to add to your sauce.

Electric Tea Kettle – This is that gift that you never thing you will use and then you never stop using it.  It boils water in minutes and you can use it for tea, hot chocolate, soup in a cup or anything that requires hot water.  It’s perfect!

Baking pans – This is by far the biggest must have pan in your collection. I use this pan for everything and if you are only going to buy one pan, buy this one!

Bakers racks – How would we handle baking if we didn’t have bakers racks?  These are a great option as you can use them to cool off your cookies, pied and baked goods or put it on your baking sheet, place chicken on top to crisp all sides of the chicken without drying out the bottom.  It’s under $10

Electronics:

For kids Pokemon is still a hot seller and I see many of my friends still purchasing the game for their children, here is the number 1 selling game currently, let me know what you think of the game if you purchase it.

For the Roomba, I purchased mine at Costco, if you do not have a Costco membership, I am sure you can find it somewhere on the internet but I loved this holiday gift given to me by my ex husband.  Yes a vacuum for Christmas but it was one of my favorite gifts.

The Echo is a great holiday gift and is currently on sale!  It’s great in the kitchen as if your hands are dirty from cooking all you have to do is speak to it and it will respond.  Kids love it too

You already know I love the “Dot”, I think it’s the perfect give to give to someone and it’s under $40, (Echo/Alexa is necessary to use this device)

Candles:

Nothing warms a home better than a candle, I love the scent of this candle made by Voluspa, the scent is Japonica – Goji Tarocco Orange and it’s perfect for either a man or woman for the holidays.

Bath and Body Work – I love the smell of fresh baked anything…this candle makes the house smell like a pecan pie, sweet and perfect!

I hope for your holiday celebration you find peace and love.  I am very grateful for all my followers, the emails I receive and for being able to provide recipes which help you to create memories.  Please be safe this holiday season and God bless you!

xoxo,

Patty
